One Stop CHristmas Shop

Why do we need it?

• To limit duplication of services to individual clients and eliminate the potential of "double dippers" causing others to miss out on the service due to meeting quotas.
• To increase donations and volunteerism through agency collaboration and community involvement.
• To ensure individual agency volunteers will not over utilized and agency resources will not be depleted to provide services.

Is it a success?

• Yes! In 2019, we helped 354 families and 1,007 kids! Not only that, but One Stop has brought diverse civic leaders and community-minded people together in ways that were not likely (or even possible) outside this event. 
• In 2020, we helped 1,200 kids! We were able to alter the process of OSCS in order to serve these families safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. We did a drive through so that the families could stay in their cars while we placed various items in their trunk/back seat.

How can I get involved?

• Volunteer: Information will be available closer to Christmas 2021.
• Give: This event is not cheap. Every dollar makes a difference. Giving to the event (in cash or check payable to one of the partnering agencies) or with physical items to give away is a crucial way to partner with-and participate in-One Stop Christmas Shop.
